Victorian authorities say they have not given up hope on finding a teenager alive after he was swept out to sea off the state’s west coast on Tuesday night.

The 14-year-old boy went missing in the ocean at Blowholes Road in Cape Bridgewater, about 350km from Melbourne, at about 7.30pm on Tuesday.
