Steven Miles has announced there will be five new “younger”, “energetic” ministers in his first cabinet, ahead of his swearing in as Queensland premier.

On Friday morning, Miles was elected unopposed by caucus to lead the party, before travelling to Government House to be sworn in by governor Jeannette Young.
