Siemens will invest £100m in a new manufacturing centre to replace its Chippenham rail signalling factory in Wiltshire.
The German technology company announced on Monday that it would build a facility on the site of the existing Chippenham factory, which has been designing and manufacturing signalling and control systems for railways since the 19th century.
