Police name victim found in 1957 and never identified as Joseph Zarelli, in city’s oldest unsolved homicide
Nearly 66 years after the battered body of a young boy was found stuffed inside a cardboard box, police in Philadelphia finally revealed the identity of the victim in the most notorious cold case in the history of the city.
In a press conference on Thursday morning, the Philadelphia police commissioner, Danielle Outlaw, named the victim as Joseph Augustus Zarelli.
