Teenager injured during car chase near Thessaloniki after allegedly not paying for €20 of fuel
A Greek police officer has been arrested after a 16-year-old Roma boy was shot in the head and seriously injured during a car chase that began when the youth allegedly failed to pay the bill at a fuel station.
The boy, who is in critical condition in hospital, was not named but identified by relatives as being a member of the Roma minority. The incident occurred outside Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city, early on Monday.
