The foster mother of missing boy William Tyrrell did not lie to the New South Wales Crime Commission about hitting a different foster child with a wooden spoon, a magistrate has found.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in Sydney’s Downing Centre local court on Friday charged with knowingly giving false or misleading evidence to the commission.
